Kaizer Chiefs will reunite with Knowledge Musona and Khama Billiat ahead of the Toyota Cup.
The annual pre-season fixture will be played on 26 July at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace in Rustenburg.
This year, Amakhosi’s opponents are the current reigning champions of Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League, Scottland FC.
Scottland FC will boast prolific former Kaizer Chiefs striker, Knowledge Musona and Khama Billiat, among their ranks.
Both players achieved much success with the Soweto giants. Musona won several trophies, including the league title with Chiefs in the early 2010s.
Billiat, on the otherhand, did not taste silverware but was Amakhosi’s best player in his first two years at the club.
The Toyota Cup was inaugurated in 2024 when Kaizer Chiefs hosted Young Africans of Tanzania in Bloemfontein.
The 2025 edition was held in Durban where Asante Kotoko of Ghana were the guests. Both events featured ‘legends’ matches as curtain-raisers, a tradition that continues this year.

The main fixture between Kaizer Chiefs and Scottland FC will kick off at 15:00.
Amakhosi are currently without a coach having parted ways with Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze last month.
The Soweto giants finished third in the Betway Premiership last season and will look to challenge Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates for league honours.
With pre-season training just three weeks away, it is believed that Kaizer Chiefs will once again head to Europe. Last year, they held their pre-season in the Netherlands, playing several friendly matches.
